Resources/Calendar

Grief is how people respond to loss. All people encounter loss in their lives. We experience loss through divorce, when we change jobs, lose relationships, see our children move away from home, deal with a chronic illness or physical condition, or cope with the death of a loved one, and deal with the realities of aging. People respond to losses by grieving emotionally, physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. Grief affects our relationships, how we function at work, and how we feel about ourselves.

The staff of Grief Services is committed to providing a safe place and a welcoming and nurturing environment for those who grieve. We offer grief groups free of charge throughout the state. Upcoming groups are being held
