(Placement Pending) Kali is an energetic teenager with a great sense of humor and bubbly personality.
Kali is an energetic teenager with a great sense of humor and bubbly personality. She is bright young lady who loves to have fun -- even at her own expense. Her interests range from basketball to roller skating to shopping, cooking, and crocheting. (Her love of cooking has even inspired her to look at becoming a chef!)
She is on target in school, however, recently her motivation declined because she is frustrated about not having a family and like any child yearns for meaningful connections. Kali's ideal family would support her in school, attend church with her, and would have an active mom and dad.
Siblings would be wonderful as Kali does very well with younger children. And, if Dad will teach her to change the oil in a care, better yet! Mix in a pet or two and that would be Kali's idea of heaven.
Kali’s enjoys activities that allow her to interact with those around her and has lots of room to grow socially. We are actively recruiting for an adoptive family (one parent or two) for this sweet, talented, young lady who will easily steal your heart.
If you have completed a home study and can picture Kali as a part of your family, please contact us today.

Meet Matthew!
Matthew is a non-verbal autistic male teen who currently lives and attends school in a residential setting. Matthew functions adequately in his current placement; he can follow simple directives, feed himself and communicate his needs and wants with the help of his point to picture board, but Matthew seeks and deserves more.
Is "adequate" Matthew's fate or will Matthew be one of the fortunate special needs children who will be granted the opportunity to reach his greatest potential with the help of his not yet found loving and nurturing forever family. Allowing Matthew into your heart is challenging, but the rewards are boundless.
To assist Matthew's soon to be found forever family, help will be provided to properly train Matthew's future parents to care for his daily needs. Ongoing support will also be provided, allowing Matthew and his new family the ability to succeed to their fullest potential.
Should you and your family feel a connection to Matthew and wish more detailed information, please contact Lutheran Family Services via phone: 540.586.3523 or email: ledwards@lfsva.org
